I have hit the half way point. At this time three weeks ago I was somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic on my way to London. If you had told me when I first touched down that things were going to go by fast, I wouldn't have listened. The beginning hours dragged on as we all tried to stay up 'till 10pm to get used to the time difference. Then days dragged on as I tried to get used to everything that makes London such an entirely different place. Now, with my time here coming closer to an end I can't believe how much I still want to do. There are still palaces to see and stairs to be climbed. All of that will have to wait though as I leave in exactly 12 hours for Paris, France.

Anyone who knows me well knows I have been waiting for this moment since I found out I was going to London. I booked my trip at least two months ago and as I wrote it in my planner, I counted the many weeks I would have to wait to visit the city of love.

Thinking about this moment is almost too much to take in. Like the experience of London this probably won't hit me until we arrive and I see the Eiffel Tower for the first time. There is so much to do in a city like Paris and we only have three days to do it. You can bet there will be a visit to the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champys Elysees. Like most fashion forward girls visiting the city of Paris is like walking down the runway. I have all of my outfits picked out and will be dressed to impress walking down each street.

There is no other way to describe how absolutely excited I am that finally, after years of dreaming about this, I will be in PARIS. I am almost certain I will not be able to sleep tonight.

Well I must say au revoir as there is much to do to prepare. I still have to pack, finish some last minute school things and of course brush up on my French. From this moment on you can think of me as une dame américaine à Paris.
