Arizona tourism gone wild

This Arizona tourism feature was expanded from and inspired by the book, "Weird Arizona," by Wesley Treat. So our staff went to the four corners of the state to bring the information and photographs to you.

With summer just around the corner, it's inevitable that we will soon be invaded by a slew of big-budget blockbusters and adult comedies . I have searched through previews to find what I believe to be the best of the best for this summer season.

'Indiana Jones'

It has been over 20 years since Harrison Ford has reprised his role as everyone's favorite hero.

Hospital patients worldwide are filing suits against facilities and healthcare providers that have sexually abused them during their stay. In such vulnerable settings, we need to have stronger screenings and supervision of all patient/staff interactions.

In November, an Arizona woman who suffered from a stroke told her speech therapist that she had been sexually assaulted while undergoing treatment at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn.

We live in a world that has gotten so caught up with individual priorities that we demand timesaving convenience in our day-to-day lives. As a result, a shocking number of life's conveniences can be reached by drive-thru. Some events, however, shouldn't be rushed through with a foot on the gas pedal.

After Sept. 11, airport security increased its procedures, but there are still problems within the system that can only be fixed by a major overhaul or a new agency.

In January, CNN did a study where they went with a Transportation Security Administration official on an undercover test of airport screeners.
