Best summer theater blockbusters predicted

With summer just around the corner, it's inevitable that we will soon be invaded by a slew of big-budget blockbusters and adult comedies . I have searched through previews to find what I believe to be the best of the best for this summer season.
'Indiana Jones'
It has been over 20 years since Harrison Ford has reprised his role as everyone's favorite hero. This time we can expect bigger explosions and greater action from director Steven Spielberg. The sequel will also include performances from Cate Blanchett and Shia LaBeouf. There is no doubt that "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" will be the must-see movie of the summer. Release Date: May 22
'Sex and the City'
I may be partial to this one, as I have been waiting for the "SATC" movie since the season ended. From the previews we can expect adultery, childbirth, potential marriage and of course more Carrie and Big drama. The martinis are shaken and the Manolo's are clicking. On opening day I will be front and center to see what unfolds with my favorite friends: Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda. Release Day: May 30
'Dark Knight'
The sequel to the dark adventure flick "Batman Begins" has been involved in a recent controversy, mainly surrounding actor Heath Ledger's death. Some believe it was his character in "Dark Knight" that led to his untimely departure. If you don't go to this movie for any other reason, go to see Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. I am told it is one of the most compelling performances of his career. Release Date: July 18
'Pineapple Express'
Written by Seth Rogan, Evan Goldberg and Judd Apatow, this movie may be the next "Superbad." The story is about a stoner and his dealer who are on the run after witnessing a cop commit murder. Starring Seth Rogan and one of my favorites, James Franco, this movie may rival Harold and Kumar. Release Date: Aug. 8
