As the 2008 Presidential election begins to heat up, we have been introduced to the vice presidential nominees. On the right, we have Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin. On the left, we have Delaware Sen. Joe Biden.
Biden has been in office for almost 36 years. He is a leader in foreign policy in the Senate, as well as being influential in drug policies, homeland security and crime prevention.…

The current drinking age is not effective according to a new petition called the Amethyst Initiative.
Drafted in July, former Middlebury College President John McCardell decided to reopen the debate on whether or not the drinking age should be lowered. College presidents and chancellors from over 100 different universities are joining together in agreement.…

Last Friday night my husband Bill and I attended a memorial service for Michael Lee-Lewis Murray, who died tragically after a motorcycle accident the week before.
